Wednesday Evening Service,  May 14, 2014

The attack on truth can be summarized in Satan’s challenge to Eve in Gen 3:1, “Did God actually say?” For the first time, Eve was confronted with the question of whether God spoke the truth, or whether he meant something else instead, or whether he had the authority to tell Eve what to do. Furthermore, Eve was introduced to the false idea that there is more than one version of the truth. In this introductory session we survey what this same attack looked like in the first churches and identify some foundational principles of Satan’s attacks.
