When we read the Bible, there is always something that comes between our eyes and the text which affects the way we read or interpret the text. That “something” is our philosophy in general, our Christian thought in particular. The main goal of this series is to aid us in understanding what that philosophy is, so that we can be aware of how we are interpreting the truths we are reading. Beginning with Plato, we will examine the way various men and their beliefs have impacted the way we think about the Bible today.
