Ultimately, the book of Job is not as much about suffering as it is about relationship, specifically Job's relationship with God. In the midst of difficult circumstances, our relationship with God often suffers as we question his benevolence. Job is finally going to submit to God's sovereignty in his life and have his relationship to God restored. Until we submit to God's sovereignty, we will struggle with the questions that suffering brings into our lives.
