Sunday Morning Service,  October 7, 2018

First Peter 2 leads naturally into a very devotional passage revealing Who Christ is and who we are in Christ. Based on these two truths, we have no choice but to make a declaration that corresponds with what God has revealed to us as strangers and pilgrims living in a hostile world. Verses 11 and 12 appear in the center of this chapter providing us with instruction, purpose and the spiritual data necessary for us to live until that time that God takes us home to live with Him for all eternity. Who Christ is and who we are leads us easily into celebrating the Lord’s Table to remember what He has done on our behalf and giving us another opportunity to worship Him.
