People long for peace in their personal lives. They long to have relief from the pressures and problems of life, to be without trouble and have no worries. While the world offers peace in many different temporary forms, the world's peace will always disappoint. In its place, Jesus offers his disciples real, lasting peace that will eliminate their worries and fears.
