The Witness’s Discourse – Part 3
The Witness’s Discourse – Part 3
Acts 17
Speaker's Picture
Sunday Morning Service,  September 6, 2015

As Jesus’ witnesses, our task is not merely to announce the gospel, hoping that the seeds will land on good soil and bear fruit. We will be called upon to explain the gospel so that the listeners are persuaded by it (compare Luke 24:47 and Matt 28:19–20). This means that we must become better at reasoning with people about the truth of the gospel, so that they are moved by the truth. And for that lesson we will sit at the feet of the apostle Paul, observing his discourse with both Jews and Gentiles.
