In 1 John 4:7-12, the Apostle John encourages believers to love one another by showing them the ultimate source of all love, God Himself. The nature of God's love and its source in believers gives incentive to us to be a conduit of God's love to others. A believer has no excuses for a lack of love. The ability to love comes through God who indwells us. Where are we quenching God's love? Do pride and prejudice hinder us from being channels of God's love?
