The Lord’s Table is a wonderful reminder of God’s love for His own. In this life we will never know or understand the depth of His love toward us. Romans 5:8 reminds us, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Without that rescuing love, we would all be helpless and hopeless, as a result of our sinful condition for there is none righteous, no not one (Rom 3:10).
