Christianity rises or falls on the historical fact of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. If He did not rise, we should pay no attention to Jesus. If He did, then we had better take every thing He said seriously. It was the stark, literal truth of the resurrection that the apostles continually affirmed in their preaching. They constantly testified as eye-witnesses to this event. Should we not follow their example and emphasize in our evangelism the resurrection of Jesus Christ?
