The stories of Jehoram, Ahaziah, and Joash teach us the importance of remaining confident in God to return in the person of Jesus Christ and to be the king that was promised David. We also learn the importance of hearing our counselors, and of the importance of not straying from God's good promises of happiness when we follow his Word.
