When John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus to the world he announced Him as ‘The Lamb of God.’ In our past two times in this text, we have beheld Jesus as the obedient Lamb of Isaiah 53 and as the sacrificial Lamb foreshadowed in the offerings of the OT. This morning, we behold Jesus in a way that may have been first in John’s thinking when we recognize Him as the triumphant Lamb. In the book of Revelation we behold the triumph of the Lamb in several ways.
