The same Elijah who confronted Baal at Mt. Carmel now cowers because of Jezebel's threat. God reminds Elijah of His power and presence in the midst of discouragement. We will also see the passing of the prophetic mantle to Elisha and Elijah's prophecy regarding the death of Ahab's son, the new king of Israel.
