Paul teaches that believers who are walking with Christ must remove as a garment the old way of living and clothe themselves with the new. He also says the believer has removed the “old man” and has “put on the new man.” We will examine this essential teaching in three installments, beginning with a consideration of what Paul means when he speaks of the “old man” and the “new man.”
