Most of us know the familiar story of how Jesus humbled himself to wash the feet of his own disciples the night before He was crucified. But what did Jesus ultimately mean by this lowly act? A close examination of the dialogue in this text will bring us to a greater appreciation for the deeper lesson that Jesus wants us to understand.
