That first resurrection Sunday was much different than the ones that we celebrate today. The followers of Jesus were discouraged, devasted and confused. All of the hopes and dreams concerning Jesus had died with him just a few days before. However, their encounters with the risen Christ on that day and the days to come would change everything!

The four basic words in Greek for serve, serving, and servant are found over 300 times in the New Testament. Jesus and Paul had much to teach us about being servants and especially serving one another. They also link this concept very closely with our love for the Lord and for one another.
