Nobody enjoys heartache, difficulty, or suffering. However, Scripture gives us a clear picture regarding how we should think when difficulty crosses our path. Every believer will face multiple times in their life when they are faced with responding to trials of life. Our perspective on suffering should be informed by the truths of Scripture. Failure to interpret difficulty through the lens of Scripture will result in despair, depression, and even bitterness. A perspective on suffering informed by truth will result in courage, change, and joy in the life of the believer.
